Native Oaks Coverage

Palo Alto's public tree inventory (~39.6k trees) includes 1,295 California-native oaks: coast live oak (Quercus agrifolia), valley oak (Quercus lobata), California black oak (Quercus kelloggii), and blue oak (Quercus douglasii). The maps below chart where these trees stand today, which ones are isolated from others of their kind, and where native oak density is highest across the city.
