- Strong policy foundation.
- Strong priorities (pollinator pathways, native plants).
- Relatively strong inventory: parks, creeks, open space, urban forest, native oak trees (Great Oak Count), engaged community.
- Tracking of progress.
- City resources: Urban Forestry, Parks, S/CAP.
- Partnerships (Grassroots Ecology, Canopy, and Primrose Way Pollinator Garden).
- But Palo Alto can go further to close gaps and implement policy.
